Pink Floyd Charts Multiple Top 10 Albums As The Band’s Catalog Rises

Pink Floyd does far more than simply appear regularly on the rock albums chart in the United Kingdom. The group is typically found inside the top 10, and often scores several bestselling titles at the same time. This frame is a major one for the legendary rock outfit, as multiple projects return, and several that appeared on the competitive list just days ago rocket back into the top 10.

Pink Floyd’s Multiple Top 10 Albums

Pink Floyd claims a pair of top 10 titles on the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart this week. Neither of the two sets currently inside that competitive space was present there last frame.

Live at Pompeii – MCMLXXII pushes from No. 12 to No. 9, while The Dark Side of the Moon surges from No. 13 to No. 10. Both collections lift by three spaces and find their way back into the chart’s loftiest region.

Live at Pompeii’s Successful Chart Life

Live at Pompeii debuted on the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart 10 weeks ago. Since then, it has led the ranking for two nonconsecutive frames, and it has only fallen outside the top 10 once. The Dark Side of the Moon, meanwhile, has lived on the list of the bestselling rock and metal releases in the U.K. for years.

Several versions of the project have appeared on the chart, and collectively they’re nearing 700 stays on the roster, with dozens spent at No. 1.

Two Bestsellers from Pink Floyd

Interest in both of those titles is growing. Live at Pompeii improves across all three of the U.K.-based tallies on which it appears, while The Dark Side of the Moon can be found on four different rosters.

Both albums currently reside on the Official Albums Sales, Official Physical Albums, and Official Rock & Metal Albums charts. The Dark Side of the Moon also reenters the Official Album Downloads list.

Four Charting Albums by Pink Floyd

Joining Live at Pompeii and The Dark Side of the Moon on the Official Rock & Metal Albums list are both Animals and Wish You Were Here, which return after falling away only recently. Those projects currently sit at Nos. 27 and 38, respectively.
