We trial a lot of equipment before deciding which products are the best and worthy of our recommendations; most of the time there are a couple of items vying for supremacy in any particular test. That’s not the case when it comes to juicers. The Nama J2 has been our top-rated juicer since we first got our hands on it in 2022. While it’s certainly not what we’d call a cheap appliance, it’s cheaper today for Prime Day than we’ve seen it in a very long time.

If a juicer has ever made you so frustrated that you raised it over your head and slammed it into a garbage can (like I did with one I bought at a garage sale for $20—buyer beware), it’s likely because of one or two common issues: It produced almost no juice despite your using an entire orchard’s worth of fruit, or the feed tube was so small that the process of extracting that tiny amount of juice is a tedious chore. The Nama solves both those problems splendidly.

You can fit four or five whole oranges in the hopper that automatically sends them down into the extractor, no feeding required. And it’s clear that you’re getting the maximum squeeze—when you touch the leftover pulp, it feels nearly dry.
Typically the Nama costs around $580 (a lot for a juicer, I know, but it will allow you to turn your counter into a professional juice bar). During Prime Day, though, the price is closer to $450. It also comes with a 15-year warranty, so you can feel confident with the purchase.
If you’re on the fence about just how much juice you actually need, Nama does make a smaller juicer, the J3. It fits a bit less fruit (and therefore makes a bit less juice in one go), but it’s $90 off right now too.
