Of Course Adam Sandler Already Owns Nike’s Most Anticipated Basketball Shoes

Adam Sandler doesn’t do dress codes. Back in March, he even rolled up to the Oscars—albeit as part of a pre-planned bit with host Conan O’Brien—he rolled up in his signature zip-up hoodie and voluminous basketball shorts. So it was no surprise when the Sandman popped up on the The Tonight Show last night sporting a prototypical Sandler fit.

While chatting to Jimmy Fallon about Happy Gilmore 2, which lands on Netflix this Friday, Sandler rocked a rowdy Hawaiian shirt, a baggy pair of Knicks-palette shorts, and half-calf socks pulled all the way up. It’s a familiar combo we’ve seen from him time and time again. The sneakers, though? Those we haven’t seen—because they’re not even out yet.

Sandler was wearing the Nike Sabrina 3 ‘Blueprint,’ the launch colorway for the third iteration of New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu’s uber-popular signature line. Crafted from a lightweight combination of mesh and nylon, the shoes feature icy blue uppers with a metallic gold Swoosh, and Ionescu’s jersey number is printed on the heel.

The real magic comes under the hood: The midsoles feature Cushlon 3.0 foam (the same tech that’s on the Zoom Vomero 5), and the forefeet are fitted with Air Zoom units for added comfort and bounce. Basically, they’re yet another pair of monster performance shoes for Ionescu—making them the perfect choice for known serious hooper Adam Sandler.

The Nike Sabrina 3 ‘Blueprint’ is set to drop on July 24 for $135.
