A man has been charged with the murder of a woman stabbed after a gas explosion at her home in Stoke Newington, north-east London.

Annabel Rook, 46 was found fatally injured just before 05:00 BST on 17 June.

Clifton George, 44, of Dumont Road, was also charged with arson with intent to endanger life.

Mr George is due to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
