Bay Area News Group boys athlete of the week


Acalanes baseball player James Stadt is the Bay Area News Group’s boys athlete of the week for May 26-31.

In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Stadt had 54.83% to finish ahead of Santa Clara baseball player John Kepner, who was second at 36.19%.

Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.

Stadt went 3 for 4 with three RBIs in Acalanes’ 7-1 win over Rancho Cotate in the North Coast Section Division II championship game.
