Bon Appétit

As Bon Appétit’s in-house cleaning expert, hundreds of products make their way into my home every year. I regularly test everything from simple dish soap to super-smart floor cleaning devices, so when there’s a big shopping event like this week’s Amazon Prime Day sale, it’s my job to sift through all the Prime Day cleaning deals to find what’s actually worth buying.

My favorite Prime Day cleaning deals

Amazon Prime Day is a wonderful opportunity to snag a discount on big-ticket cleaning gear like cordless vac mops. It’s also a great time to stock up on everyday cleaning supplies (especially if you, like me, are drawn to the best-smelling options). Below, find my 10 favorite Prime Day cleaning deals of 2025. These are products I’ve tested and choose to use in my own home long after I’ve finished testing the stuff.

Tineco Floor One S7 Pro Cordless Vac Mop

A few years ago, I discovered the life-changing magic of a cordless vac mop, a device that vacuums and wet-mops hard floors at the same time. Since then, I’ve tested 16 models and the Tineco Floor One S7 Pro is the best one money can buy. Usually, it requires quite a lot of money to buy, but right now you can save $270.

Dyson V15s Detect Submarine

Dyson V15s Detect Submarine

I really love my Tineco, but even the best vac mops suck at vacuuming pet hair off of rugs (and not in the way they’re supposed to). Because have a dog, I still need a straight-up vacuum cleaner—well, I did until last year when Dyson released a powerful cordless stick vac with a motorized mopping head that can be swapped onto the stick for wet mopping. The Dyson V15s Detect Submarine is a versatile, space-saving multitasker, and if I had to limit myself to just one floor-cleaning device, this would absolutely be it. Even at full price, I think it’s worth every penny, but right now you can save $150.

Shark NeverChange Air Purifier

Shark NeverChange Air Purifier

I use Shark’s powerful NeverChange air purifier to help make up for the lack of an exhaust system in my rental apartment’s kitchen. I love that it displays my indoor air quality in real time and automatically adjusts the suction as necessary. The best part? The multilayer HEPA filter can last for up to five years—though if you make it work really hard in the kitchen like I do, you might need to replace it a little sooner.

Diatomaceous earth sink mat

Diatomite Quick Drying Faucet Mat

I like big fixtures and I cannot lie. But having an oversized, industrial-style faucet at my small kitchen sink often leads to pools of water on the counter. I tried a few different solutions before ending up with a diatomaceous earth mat that runs the length of the back of my kitchen sink. I’m constantly amazed at how quickly it absorbs and evaporates all the water I somehow drip and splash every time I use the sink.

Naomi After-Cooking Hand Scrub

Naomi After-Cooking Hand Scrub, Bergamot and Black Pepper

Naomi After-Cooking Hand Scrub was developed with cooks in mind. It neutralizes odors with some sort of naturally occurring deodorant in bread yeast and exfoliates and moisturizes too. But the thing that makes me swoon is the scent: a combo of bergamot, sandalwood, and black pepper. It smells divine and I like it better than much pricier soaps I’ve tried. It also happens to be half the price of my favorite Aesop hand wash.

Mr. Siga Mini Broom and Dustpan Set

Mr. Siga Mini Dustpan and Brush Set

This adorable mini broom and dustpan set from Mr. Siga (which makes my favorite glass cleaning cloth) has helped me cut way back on paper towels. I use it to sweep up crumbs from my counter and table before I wipe it down, and I even use it for a first pass on the inside of my air fryer oven. It’s great at getting crumbs out of corners and crevices and I love that I can wash the bristles with dish soap and water when they get gunky. To keep it “counter clean” I put a “table and counter only” label on the back of the dust pan and use a magnetic hook to hang it on my fridge.

Mr. Siga Microfiber Cleaning Cloths

Mr. Siga Microfiber Cleaning Cloths, 12 pack

After learning that microfiber cleaning cloths are most effective at removing contaminants from a surface when they’re in brand-new condition—and that they become less effective the more they get used—I make a point of replacing the ones I use for the kitchen about once a year. If you don’t remember when you bought yours, or if they no longer feel soft and fluffy, use this sale as an excuse to refresh your stock.

Phomemo Mini Bluetooth Label Maker

Phomemo Mini Bluetooth Label Maker

If you like to treat yourself to a little (possibly unhinged) organizing after you get your kitchen nice and clean, I highly recommend this mini Bluetooth label maker. It connects to a companion app so you can make labels for anything and everything right there on your phone.

Zevo Flying Insect Traps

It’s probably impossible to prevent fruit flies completely—especially in the summer—but you can at least keep them under control with a few strategically placed traps. For me, it’s a two-pronged approach: A DIY apple cider vinegar trap on the counter plus a Zevo Flying Insect Trap plugged into the wall near my kitchen trash can. The Zevo uses light to attract the flies then traps them on a sticky cartridge, which you have to replace when it gets full. Right now, you can save on this set of two—which I highly recommend since we’re right smack in the middle of tomato season.

Blueland Lemon Cedar Toilet Bowl Cleaning Tablets

Yes, we’re going there. Because I looooove these plant-based toilet cleaning tablets from Blueland. Mostly I love the lemon-cedar scent that fills my bathroom when I drop one in the water, but they make the porcelain sparkle too. In fact, I love them so much it hurts me to have to walk right by every time I catch a glimpse of the bag on the shelf at Whole Foods—but they’re just too damn expensive for something I’m tossing in a toilet bowl. That’s why i’m stocking up on these refill packs while they’re 30% off.
